Joint Manipulation, also known as chiropractic adjustments, are done by hand to improve the motion of a joint, decrease pain, and reduce stiffness.

Dry Needling is a technique that using small needles (the same ones that are used in acupuncture) to target trigger points within a muscle. This can help relieve muscle tension, which can help with pain, migraines, chronic pain disorders, as well as acute injuries.

Soft Tissue Therapy
Soft tissue therapy can be done by hand, or using an instrument (IASTM). These techniques are used to help reduce muscle and fascial tension. Different soft tissue techniques include Active Release Technique, trigger point therapy, and instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation.

Rehabilitation
Whether it is an acute injury or a chronic one, movement is medicine! Rehabilitative exercises are used to decrease pain, increase strength and resiliency of tissues, and to reinforce proper movement patterns. These techniques include, McKenzie Method (MDT), Neurodynamics, general strength and conditioning, and Functional Range Conditioning (FRC).

Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization
DNS is a rehabilitative technique geared toward influencing our “integrated stabilizing system. It derives from principles of developmental kinesiology. Stabilization exercises, breathing, and loaded movements are based on a babies movement patterns in the first year of life. DNS promotes functional stability, efficient movement, and an increase in mobility.
